What is the difference between Smartsuit Pro II and Smartsuit Pro II (Glove Ready)?
Smartsuit Pro II: Tracks hand/wrist movements with built-in sensors.
Glove Ready version: Replaces built-in hand sensors with USB-C ports for direct Smartglove connection, enabling a plug-and-play setup.

The Smartsuit Pro II box includes the suit with embedded IMU sensors and a Wi-Fi hub. Rokoko Studio software is free to download and use for recording, but monthly subscription plans will unlock real-time streaming, more export options and AI tools.
Battery: The suit will need a power bank and that is NOT included in the purchase. For customs reasons we are not able to ship lithium batteries and therefore it needs to be purchased separately. We recommend getting a 5V/3A USB-A power bank (more than 5V can fry the hardware) - a standard 10,000 mAh power bank provides roughly 6+ hours of continuous capture. You likely already own such a power bank, but if not here are battery recommendations.
To get started, you need: the Smartsuit Pro II, a computer running Rokoko Studio (Windows or macOS), a Wi-Fi network (the suit connects wirelessly), and a USB power bank to power the suit. No external cameras, markers, or studio modifications are required.Can the Smartsuit Pro II be used without Wi-Fi connection?
Short answer, yes! The Smartsuit Pro II has a built-in hotspot that you can connect to - perfect for offline or outdoor recordings.
Can I return the products if I’m not satisfied?
Yes. All purchases include a 30-day trial period. You can test the gear and return it within 30 days from delivery for a refund. Please note that return shipping costs are not covered.
What software does the Smartsuit Pro II work with?
The Smartsuit Pro II streams motion data in real time via Rokoko Studio to all major 3D applications through native plugins (Maya, Unity, Blender, Unreal Engine, MotionBuilder, iClone, Houdini and Cinema 4D).
Rokoko Studio also supports FBX and BVH export for any software that accepts standard motion capture file formats. The Rokoko Studio Live plugin enables real-time streaming, so animators can preview captured motion on their rigged character during recording - useful for virtual production, live events, and rapid iteration.How does Smartsuit Pro II compare to optical and other mocap systems?
The Smartsuit Pro II is an inertial (IMU-based) motion capture suit, which means it doesn't require external cameras, markers, or a dedicated studio. This gives it key advantages over optical systems in portability and setup time.
Compared to Xsens, the Smartsuit Pro II offers a similar sensor count at a significantly lower price point, though Xsens is often preferred for biomechanics research due to its longer track record in clinical studies. Compared to video-based AI solutions (like Move.ai), the Smartsuit delivers higher-fidelity data with less post-cleanup and with live-streaming options.
